Just wondering if anyone is still buying brand new cars. Just saw on TV that new car sales are down 40% from the same time last year. I drive old 15+ year cars, and never will pay over $2000 for any car. I have a 1985 Chevy Custom Deluxe I paid $1300 for, and my girlfriend has a 1988 Buick Century she paid $900 for.
Heck no, I have a old ford ranger that I bought for $1,500 about 3 years back and the only thing that has busted was the water pump and the alternator. Fixed both myself for under $100 and has been going strong ever since. I just don’t see the point in a new car when cheap old beaters do the same thing(wheels turn)
