Price range: $20K to 25K. Big discounts or low APR preferable.
This is such a broad question. If you are looking for a car, try the Ford Fusion ot the Ford Five Hundred. Both are offering great incentives, and are right in that price range! E-mail me direct if you have any more questions at stevenlaureys@hotmail.com s. Laureys

Hey, i passed my driving test about 6 months ago, and drove a corsa sxi for about 3 months, before going to university. I now require a car again, but to get insured on the corsa is 2k for my age and lack of experience and the engine and version of the corsa.
Therefore i need to buy a new car, im looking at going to auctions, cos my brother picked up a really good sound polo from an auction for a fraction of the price and has had no problems for over a year…
I have about £1,500 but stuck to decide which make and car to do for…I like fiestas a lot, the 2003 onward shape, but im not sure if im being realistic with my budget…
Any suggestions of any other cars which are good for drivers like me which i could pick up for under my budget.
Many thanks in advance
£1500 will certainly not get you a 2003 new shape fiesta unless its a turd. Car prices are well up on last year due to scrappage and a lack of cheaper used cars and plenty of buyers.
With your budget I’d look in your local paper and see what comes up. CAP (car auction price) is going to go up again this month at the cheap end with so many cars having been written off with the recent bad weather.

Typically when searching cars you must provide your zipcode. I want to simply know what dealer is selling a specific car for the cheapest price regardless of where they are located in the U.S.
Go to autotrader.com and choose a no mile radius.

My dad and I are looking at used cars, I was just wondering. Are used car prices usually set, or can you haggle them like you do with a new car’s sticker price?
You can haggle pricing on any car….used cars are generally easier than new cars,if you buy from a new car dealer, because the dealer gets them almost for free if it’s a trade-in…..

I have my driver licence almost eight months ago in NH. Now I moved to Mas and I pay about $ 210 per month for car insurance. I want to know if I can find cheaper or this not too bad for a new driver. I own a 2000 ford Taurus since two months. What do you think guys?
the cheapest insurance i could find when i first started driving was nationwide but it was still just over 200$/month. So it looks like your right in the ball park of it all for full coverage.

I bought a used car last July that’s nickel and diming me and now I’m ready for a new car. Final purchase price of the car was $17K total, including financing interest. Sticker was about $14K. This first year of ownership has cost me $6K, including down payment and monthly payments. However, Kelly Blue Book trade in value for my vehicle right now is a miserable $7K. So, even if I sold my car now for $7K, I’d still owe about $2K on the loan I’d have to pay out of my own pocket. And, on top of that I’d have no car. Any help in how I might get a new car and make it work financially?
The best way is if you can afford it, then buy it….if not, then save until you can. Simple and easy. Don’t be like the rest of America filing for bankruptcy, bad credit, in debt up to their ears. Quit wanting now and wait for later.

My husband and I are in the market for a new car (as in an 06) and we’ve been told that our credit is horrible and we would need a huge down payment and a co-signer. I know of about 5 different people who bought new cars and their credit is worse than ours and they managed to get no down payment and didn’t need a co-signer. How does that work.
I’m not sure how you know how their credit compares to yours, but that’s a whole other story.
Most ‘bad credit’ car loans wind up costing you a fortune – either in very high interest rates or high car price. My best advice is to fix your credit, then buy a new car.
While your credit is under repair, keep finding $500 cars to get you through. Even if one only lasts 6 months, you’re 5 car payments ahead, see?
Also, a downpayment should be seriously considered. Even if your trade is the downpayment, your monthlies are that much lower. Pay the sales tax up front as well. Why pay interest on tax? That makes no sense. If you owe more than the trade is worth, keep it! Trade when the value exceeds the remaining payments!

Most states charge sales tax on rebates as on a car the rebate goes to the dealer. Rebates for other things are taxable as most rebates are never payed as promissed because some are never applyed for or the companys never send them to you because you didn’t submit the paperwork properly.
