Buy a New Car at Internet Pricing!
I have my own photography business and want to help used car dealers sell their cars either on Ebay or creating a webpage for them as I have experience in web design also.
I would charge a minimum of $250 for your work, plus all fees incured.
I still owe $6,000 on my current car but I want to get a new one. How does this work? Can I trade my car in even though I don’t technically own it? Will the car dealership that I go to take care of everything with my current finance company? How exactly does this stuff work?
You are essentially selling it to the dealer, so make sure you
know what its worth before you go. They will pay it off, so
the finance company will release the title to them. Make sure
you understand exactly what you are getting for your trade
and what you are paying for the new car. Sometimes it
can be confusing when they just give you a trade diff. price.
Be opinionated, don’t let them control the deal. Its your car
and you will sell for what you want, and you will pay what you
think the new one is worth, so many car dealerships out there
get the best deal possible.
I just put my car up for sale, which could sell for as high as $20K. What the best way to receive the cash so I don’t get taken?
You can take cash, but do the transaction at a bank and deposit it so you don’t get robbed (by his friends) on the way home.
You can take a bank check BUT only if you go to the bank with the buyer, and see him draw the money (making sure the check is real). These days I can get a bank check for $5 face value, and photoshop it to $25,000 and print it up on my color printer and you would never know.

Also let the buyer know that you will be taking a photocopy of the buyer’s driver’s license as record. That alone will scare away most fake bank check writers.

The new cars that sit on a lot do not all sell. There has to be a place for them somewhere. They do not all end up on used car lots. Think about it. So many cars made every year, and they go where? Does anyone know?
When the new models come out, the prices go down on the old ones until they are sold. These are the cars I usually buy: one year old, very few (demo) miles, never titled, brand-new warranty, and at least 20% off sticker price. Many other people also shop this same niche in the market every time they need a new car.
