Where do they come from and why would someone sell a car that they had owned for such a short period of time. If the cars are so much cheeper to buy at 18 months old, surely the original owners are losing a hell of a lot of money.

The best sites I’ve found are www.autotrader.com and Google Base which is at www.google.com/base.
I hate Craig’s list because I’ve encountered two people who have tried to scam me on that web site.

For foreclosed homes you can go to www.oreolist.com . This is a website I’m involved in so I’m what partial. I did however while compiling the list of foreclosures homes found that many credit unions have lists on their sites for repossessed cars. You might try there. Send me an email at contactus@oreolist.com and I’ll send you a list of links to all credit unions in Maryland. It might make your search a little easier.
