In my line of Business (New York Towing) we always get people asking about used car.
Even if we are doing New York Roadside Assistance
in the middle of the night customers are always asking if we have car for sale in our Auto Body Repair so i decided to write a small post about it.
In recent years, more people prefer to buy used cars rather than invest in buying a new vehicle from the sale of new vehicles. Can be explained mainly by the fact that people prefer to change vehicles every few years, in order to avoid wear and tear of the decrease in sales prices and because the fact that used cars, mostly second-hand cars, more cheap and reasonable prices of new cars. Moreover, buying a new car takes a few tens of percent of purchase price, so that in due course, when we want to sell it, it’s likely we’ll have to compromise and get a price is often lower than the price of price list.
When we want to buy a car, we take into account some considerations concerning the purchase, such as, the budget that we have, the type of vehicle and purpose of its use, are designed primarily to travel within the city or the country. When responding to these considerations, we can turn the Tables famous cars for sale in various newspapers and websites.
Through these panels, we can obtain information on the type of vehicle, color, sleep and of course there are additions Vabsoar, if any. Moreover, some of the ads of vehicles for sale, usually appears a picture of the vehicle. If impressed by the car, we can proceed with the purchase, by contracting with the owner.
Moreover, except for finding cars for sale through newspaper ads and the Internet, you can also talk to companies who perform trade-in leasing, thus actually paid to a deal worth more often, compared to the transaction with a private seller. In this transaction, the customer gives his car to his current financial position adding the difference on the new car he wants to buy it. So basically he can save costs and precious time in search of vehicles for sale to fit exactly to its needs.
Unlike the trade deal, a deal which is leasing rental transaction, the buyer is entitled to receive leasing company a monthly fee, depending on the type of vehicle in production, the use of a car. All this of course according to predetermined lease agreement between the two sides, the client leasing company. Moreover, the end of each rental agreement, there is an option to purchase the vehicle from the company’s low-cost worthwhile

right after the new year’s models arrive en masse. It seems like a car-commercial cliche, but they apparently really do need to make room for the new models, and that’s typically when you see the really big incentives and stuff. That’s usually November-January. You’ll see the best deals on cars that weren’t moving the previous year. Check out the manufacturer’s sites, and you’ll often see lists of incentives.
Also, winter is the best time to buy a convertible.

June 1, 2009 — CARBONDALE, IL – Consumers will receive vouchers from the federal government to help purchase new, more fuel-efficient cars and older cars that damage the environment will be taken off the roads if legislation to establish the “Cash for Clunkers” program is approved by Congress, U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) said today. While discussing this effort to stimulate new car sales, Durbin promoted the tax credits made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for first-time home buyers.

Is this another deficit busting program put together by the democrats?
Yes, and what will they go for next? Jay Leno’s old car collection? my old 84 chevy diesel, that runs good, but will be declared a clunker and not allowed on the road? Junk yards will be busy.

What kind of discounts can I anticipate during a blowout sale of the 2008 Nissan Altimas when they start stocking the ‘09 models?
The MSRP is around $21,000 now before their big sales. What would be your best guess as for the price asked for then and how much I could knock off that price while negotiating?
Thanks in advance!
The best guess will be invoice minues the rebates, which if you try hard enough you could get invoice right now, prices are set on new cars, dealers cant really do anything "spectacular" to make them any cheaper.
Just go in to the "blow out sale" and tell them you will pay invoice minus the rebates and thats it. Be open about the car you take, they will be more willing to do invoice if you take one thats in stock.

I mean, I think of how many new cars are probably made and even sold in one day, and sometimes I wonder if we’re being way overcharged for new cars. What do you think? Does it really cost them $20,000 +++ to build them?
I don’t think cars are overpriced, if by that you mean they have an artificially high, inflated profit margin. Too many car manufacturers (domestic and import) are not profitable for that to be the case. In addition to the basic manufacturing costs of a car, you’ve got to consider development costs, marketing, warranty claims, and everything else that adds overhead. I think it’s more a case that people just spend too much on them.
If you just want basic transportation to get you from point A to point B, you can get still get a brand new compact car with power windows/locks and AC for around $15k.
But people have demonstrated they’re more than willing to spend $25k+ for bigger, heavier cars with bigger engines and all kinds of optional luxury conveniences (moonroofs, large alloy wheels, premium stereos, leather seating, power seats, etc). Heck, people will spend $35k+ just to get a "luxury" version of a car that already has these accessories!

I need a specific citation for the top ten new cars and the top ten used cars (based on sales).
I would have to say that you would have to look in consumer reports.
Also you can go to http://fueleconomy.gov and find the one with the best gas mileage

I paid a lot of sales taxes on theses new cars.
I don’t know if I can deduct theses taxes from the taxes I have to pay in New Jersey ??
Thank you
If you are not itemizing your deductions , no you could not.
If you are itemizing your deductions on Schedule A, rather than taking the standard deduction, then yes. Do you have any other itemized deductions, real estate property taxes, mortgage interest, medical expenses that exceed 7.5%of your Adjusted Gross income? Compare what you have in itemized deductions to what the standard deduction is for your filing status. Use the figure that is going to allow you to subtract the most from your income.
If you have any questions call the Internal Revenue Service at
