I’m going to be buying a new car soon. I want to buy something brand new – with as few miles on the odometer as possible.
Somebody told me once that any car with over 100 miles on it is used. True or not? What about a model from last year with less than 100 miles on it. Is it still new?
What is the definition of a new car?
Personal opinion, if a vehicle has more than 10 miles on it, I consider it used, but avio is right, technically until the vehicle is registered and licensed, it can still be considered new, despite the mileage. A friend of mine bought a "new" Honda with 143 miles on it. Smart move to buy a new car rather than used, take your time, get something you will be happy with, and best of luck.

I just bought a new car in October and received a notice that my first scheduled maintenance is due. Are all these "scheduled maintenance" things really necessary for a new car, or is it just a way for the dealership to get more of my money?
Compare what the dealer sent, with what your owners manual recommends as dealers will pad services to make a few extra bucks. Some of the extra recommendations are OK and good to do but some are just fluff and BS. To keep your car in good condition you should do at least the recommended services in your owners manual at the correct mileage and time intervals and use the severe service schedule.

So, the new advertising theme for Lincoln seems to be about posturing the cars as high tech "starships". So why use a 10+ year old song from The Crystal Method that stopped being used in other car commercials more than 5 years ago?
An "old song" for you perhaps, but apparently not for the market segment that Lincoln is trying to target.

coz of the high prices that was in the same time of the flood of the new cars ?!
Are we a rich or poor country ?!
Are we really suffering or Are we really enjoying life and the new cars ?
In every country you can see such extremes. Some countries have a larger middle class than others depending on how socialy oriented the government is. But if I can give you a cynical answer…the less people believe in the possibility of change, such as in government…the lack of hope…the less they participate in government..such as elections..and as a result the government supports those who participate..(the rich get richer and the poor get poorer).
I cannot imagine how strong Masr could be for itself if it could only organize its voice against the things and people that hold it back.
But when people learn that they can only trust themselves, not their government, and they see so much dificulty in life arround them some of the people feel the need to sepperate themselves. The mentality becomes that "if its not happening to me, then it isn’t happening in my country"

I have a 1987 Subaru Justy; it’s a terrific car that is mechanically sound and has tonnes of life left. Plus it’s my baby and I plan on keeping it forever.
However, the rear seat has sun damage and the driver seat is cracked and worn from wear. Also the carpet near the pedals has worn through. It looks ugly and I have seat covers, but it doesn’t look as good as having actual upholestry.
Where would I find seats for this car? I tried Ebay but there’s none. Also tried dismantling yards, but this car is pretty rare and couldn’t find any. Any websites you know of?
Also, once I find some, how hard is it for a "do-it-yourselfer" to take the old ones and bolt new ones in? It seems like it’d be just a number of bolts holding the seat and tracks to the floor.
Probably get them recovered cheaper, to match your colors. You’re talking a 20 year old car, so most seats will probably be in the same condition.
Front seats are just 4 bolts and maybe a wire connector. Rear seats are pretty simple as well.
You can try at this site. BTW, this is a great site for Subie owners.

My current car insurance policy runs out at the end of the month and I will not be renewing with them. I am getting a new car approx 2 weeks before the expiry date. Can i start the insurance with another company and ‘overlap’ the insurance ?
You CAN do that since you are changing anyway.
You might want to notify your PRIOR insurance company once you have the NEW coverage in force – just to avoid any duplication of coverage and any "earned premium." If the company automatically renews and you don’t inform them, they might try to collect for the time you had coverage in force.
Just show them a copy of your NEW policy and they will cancel the old.
That’s the way it SHOULD be done.
Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps!
