What are the statistics on national new car sales closing averages?

I beleave it’s about 20% but I would like to find a site with "official" stats. I work at a Toyota dealership in Florida and we are at 30%. That’s just the front sales and not counting internet.

The average is about 20% ( I work in car sales too), but I don’t know where to find a website with that stat on it. Congrats on your 30% though, that’s great!

I purchased a new 2010 Toyota Camry SE monday jan 25th. Now the sale of this car is suspended. what do i do ?

When buying my new Toyota I asked about the gas pedal problems and was told it was no major concern. It seems it was a big enough concern to halt the selling of this car.

It is a very big concern and it is not the floor-mat causing the problem. Check out:

You’ll find lots of information…including a story of four people killed when the car accelerated and the floor mat was found in the trunk (exactly where Toyota instructed owners to put them in a letter).

Makes me sick that I’m driving a brand new 2010 Camry XLE. How many people are going to have to die before Toyota takes preventive measures to protect owner’s of the cars being effected by the acceleration problem? Toyota should require every effected model be returned to a Toyota dealership and owner’s be temporarily put in a vehicle that is safe until the exact cause is determined and a solution implemented.

Does anyone know if Toyota will be offering low finance rates on new cars soon?

Right now Toyotas have 5.9% financing on a 60 month car loan for new cars. Does anyone have the scoop on what the new promotion will be next month?

You’ll find year end specials on remaining 07 models. I tried to get the promotion page on Toyota’s web site to open, but it’s telling me the server on that is down. Go figure. Just keep your ears open. You might try this; Get to know a person at a Toyota dealer and have them call you when a big promo comes up. G’luck.

What is the best new car for under 20,000 with gas mileage as the key factor?

I am close to purchasing my first new car. It must be under 20,000 and the most important factors are 1: gas mileage 2: must be sporty.

Toyota corrola, matrix ,yaris pontiac vibe its a toyota just made in the U.S. i have one good car cheaper then a matriix. No nissan… Honda civic yo may be able to work a deal on a suburu forester.
